Emerson
Location:
Situated above
the SPCA and Girl Guides Camp
Length: maybe 1km
Difficultly: Advanced
Description: The easiest
way to find it from the bottom is to ride by the SPCA and go up
the gravel road. Take the heavily ridden trail to the left and
follow up to the top past the stunts. It will take you to the
power line and if you follow it to the right after the power
line it will take you to the back of a cul-de-sac off of
Richards rd. The trails are filled with structures, jumps,
drops, and gaps. It is a good place to see what you and your
bike are capable of.

Hog's Back
Location: Starts at Sugar
Loaf ball park off the riverfront trail
Length: 2-5 km depending
on route taken
Difficultly: Intermediate
Description: Trail starts
behind the ballpark and immediately climbs up several steep
hills. At the top of the second steep gravel climb the
trail forks. Take the right branch to loop to Kopetski's gravel
pit. Skirting the edge of the pit leads to a nice double
track loop that returns to the top of the Hogs Back trail.
Looping back down Hog's Back will bring you back to the left
branch of the original fork. The loop is filled with lots
of side trails that can be explored, take a friend to help with
navigation.
